The Role
As Tax Manager, you’ll play a vital role in delivering top-tier tax advice and compliance services to a diverse client base. Your key responsibilities will include:
🔹 Tax Compliance & Advisory – Managing Income Tax, Corporation Tax, VAT, Capital Gains Tax, and Inheritance Tax affairs
🔹 Client-Focused Service – Providing tailored tax planning and minimising client tax liabilities
🔹 Legislative Expertise – Keeping up-to-date with tax laws and ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations
🔹 Leadership & Development – Supporting the Senior Management Team and mentoring junior staff
🔹 Business Growth – Playing a strategic role in practice development and client retention
What We’re Looking For
✔️ Proven tax experience within an accountancy firm
✔️ Strong knowledge of Sage and HMRC tax compliance
✔️ Ability to work independently and within a team
✔️ Leadership skills with a proactive and client-focused approach
The Package
💰 Salary: £40,000 - £47,000 + performance-based bonus
📆 Full-time | 37.5 hours per week | Fully Office-Based (Workington)
🏖️ Annual Leave: 4 weeks + bank holidays
