Hands-on leadership role in a dynamic and commercially focused environment.
We’re seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join a successful, fast paced organisation on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. This role offers the opportunity to lead a well-established finance team, working directly with the MD and senior leadership team on strategic planning, forecasting, and operational performance.
If you’re a commercially driven finance leader who thrives in fast-paced SME environments — particularly with experience in construction or property development this could be a great fit.

-
Fulfil reporting requirements for JV partners
-

-
Provide technical support across the finance team and wider business
-
Actively participate in operational and board-level meetings
-
Use Sage and construction-specific finance software ‘Construction Management’
Based full-time from the company’s Head Office in Penrith, this role requires strong leadership, excellent financial insight, and a pragmatic, hands-on approach.

A qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or QBE with strong leadership experience
-
Background in an SME setting — ideally in construction, housebuilding, or property
-
Strong cashflow, budgeting and forecasting experience
-
Comfortable managing funding relationships and producing projections
-
Able to provide clarity in board discussions and respond confidently to change
-
Experience with Sage and industry-specific tools desirable
What’s on Offer

A competitive salary package
-
An opportunity to step into a key leadership role during an exciting period of delivery and growth
-
Strong visibility across the business with the chance to shape improvements and influence strategic direction
