    Accounts Receivable Senior - Carlisle

    Are you detail-driven, customer-focused, and looking to take the next step in your finance career?
    We’re working with a well-established and growing organisation who are expanding their finance team and have a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Senior to join them.

    The Role

    You’ll play a key part in managing customer financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and excellent service. This varied role will see you:

    • Raising invoices, issuing statements, and reconciling income.

    • Producing weekly debtor reports and managing debt collection.

    • Reconciling cash and card takings against monthly sales.

    • Posting monthly sales journals into management accounts.

    • Supporting customers with cash handling guidance and best practice.

    • Answering queries promptly and building strong relationships.

    • Working closely with colleagues on continuous process improvement.

    This is a hands-on position where accuracy, efficiency, and a collaborative mindset are essential.

    About You

    We’re looking for someone who:

    • Has an AAT qualification (or equivalent experience).

    • Is confident with MS Excel and financial software.

    • Thrives on accuracy, deadlines, and problem-solving.

    • Communicates clearly and professionally with customers and colleagues.

    • Enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.

    Salary & Benefits on Offer

    • Salary Negotiable DOE: up to £33,000

    • Working hours: 08:30–17:00 (1-hour lunch), Mon–Thurs; 08:30–16:30 Fri

    • Flexibility: Option for 9am start with 30-min lunch

    • 25 days holiday + bank holidays

    • Option to buy up to 5 extra holidays per year

    • Company pension scheme (5% employer, 5% employee)

    • Company sickness scheme (3 months full pay, 3 months 50%)
